Michelle Kirchoff joined Team Matchmaker in August 2024. She has a BS in Psychology & Communications from Central Michigan University and a Masters in Public Health from Saginaw Valley State University. Michelle earned her credentials as a Realtor in 2012 and was an active agent for just over four years. During that time, she was also a Relocation Specialist. Michelle stepped away from Real Estate and worked in Digital Marketing for 14 years before returning to Real Estate. She remains a partner in a local marketing agency in Saginaw.

Michelle is a Michigan Native, having grown up in Mt. Pleasant, and currently resides in the Tri-Cities area. She was a farm girl, and even though she hasn't lived on a farm since she was young, she still considers herself a farm girl. Michelle is married with five children, two step-sons, and one granddaughter. She also has two dogs and four cats (That's the farm girl coming out and wanting to be around animals while living in the city!). Her first love was her retired racehorse, Eepos, who was such a laid-back, calm horse that Michelle frequently let Eepos roam around the property, grazing until his tummy was full. At the same time, Michelle laid on his back and got some Vitamin D! She had such trust in him that she never used a halter, bridle, or any rope to ensure he wouldn't get spooked or take off. When he was done, he would wander back to his stall and wait for Michelle to wake up.

Michelle's philosophy is to take each day one at a time, taking time to enjoy the moments that bring us joy! She doesn't worry about the destination because she finds we miss too much in our daily lives if we only focus on the desired result. Her mantra is simply "Enjoy the Journey." Her goals are to help people find their dream house, starter house, vacant land to build new, and everything in between. She wants buyers and sellers to enjoy their homeowner journey.

Michelle values integrity, creativity, zen, and grit. Her mission has been to be a positive and supportive person to those she meets, whether it be a stranger at the supermarket or a life-long friend. A day without a smile has lost an opportunity. She aims to give at least one person the warm and fuzzies daily.

Michelle enjoys spending time with her family and friends, playing cards and board games (no electronic devices are allowed at the game table), going for walks in the woods, kayaking, and visiting some of Michigan's beautiful places while on the hunt for the perfect ice cream place. (Spoiler alert: They have all been so yummy that she needs to take a second round of voting.)

She also enjoys sitting on her front porch early in the morning while sipping that first cup of coffee of the day, watching the neighborhood wildlife wake up. She often can be seen with one of her 30+ harmonicas or one of her 15+ yoyos. She keeps one of each in her purse, computer bag, and vehicle glove compartment, so she is always with one.
